Workshop Sponsor Program
The fastest, most cost-effective way
for your state or federal agency, your company, or your foundation to contribute
to the integrated renewal of a particular community, region, or
nation.
Revitalization Institute offers
workshops that help public & private leaders understand,
specify, and design integrated
approaches to
restoration projects and revitalization programs. This means
that their economic growth is primarily based on renewing their
natural, built, and social assets. Your
institution can sponsor these workshops, either in whole, or in a
cost-sharing relationship with communities.
Workshop Sponsors can also fund
the enrollment of states, tribes, metropolitan areas, etc. as
Leader Regions in our new Integrated
Revitalization Tools program.
Staffers from your
institution can serve as Guest Experts in these workshops, if you
wish.
This gives your organization more involvement in the program, and
also serves as effective training in integrated renewal techniques
for your personnel. [Note: A two-day training session for your
staffers is required in order for them to serve as Guest Experts.]
Support your favorite community or
environmental groups at the same time. To expedite the
revitalization of communities in your area of concern, you can send the workshop funds directly to a local
non-profit environmental organization or economic development group
with whom you already have a relationship.
-
Simply earmark the funds
for Revitalization Institute workshops (or for enrollment as a
Leader Region in our
Integrated Revitalization Tools
program), and that region's socioeconomic/environmental renewal
can start almost immediately.
-
We will work with
your partner organization to integrate our workshop curriculum with their
own renewal-related agendas, and will be happy to share 10-15% of
the funding to help cover their administrative costs and overhead.
